The Namur Institute of Structured Matter (NISM) federates the research activities of the chemistry and physics departments at the University of Namur. Multidisciplinary in nature, the METAMORPHOSE F.R.S.-FNRS thematic doctoral school is interested in different fields of the sciences of matter, radiation and the interaction between matter and radiation. Particular interest is devoted to research at the interface of chemistry, physics and life sciences. In addition to their fundamental aspect, the research carried out within the METAMORPHOSE doctoral school deals with applications as diverse as the environment, telecommunications research or astrophysics, to name but a few examples. C.G.B. (Comité de Gestion du Bulletin) - C.B.B. (Comité van Beheer van het Bulletin) is an intermediate between the two Belgian chemical societies (Koninklijke Vlaamse Chemische Vereniging and Société Royale de Chimie) and Chemistry Europe. C.G.B.-C.B.B. promotes the European journals of Chemistry Europe, contributes to the establishment of new European research journals and motivates Belgian scientists to publish their research in these European journals and to participate in the activities of C.G.B.-C.B.B.
